Hey, Kev: If you go to the Manage menu and click Permissions, you can control what information is available to everyone, your buddies, etc.

It does have a headphone port, but no USB.  It has a docking port like the iPhone, so the idea is that to put data onto it, you go through your laptop/iTunes. It seems to be screaming along on our home WiFi connection!

Have you tried the screen-lock thing that keeps it from switching between portrait and landscape?  Should be good for couch reading positions. Let us know if you have pangs for the 3G version - I'm thinking that could be very fun on a journey.

I have already used the aspect toggle and it is handy!  So far, I'm doing ok with only wifi, but on a long trip, it's possible that 3G would be better. We will be road testing it this summer! As far as fingerprints, those were from the kids...
