Karen we also loved those downtown historic houses...but with three kids, those aren't practical for us right now (still fun to ride the horse-drawn carriages around and gawk at them, though).   Pennsylvania counts as "East" from here!  ...

Yes, we'll definitely be coming back to Seattle for vacations (maybe in the high heat of August next summer).  They'll never be rid of us completely

Oh Wow Rose, how cool is that?    Thanks for sharing the videos.  How many did they release?  I was expecting to see hatchlings, do they gather them and raise them till they are older (and bigger)?

Oh yes, sorry about the misleading intro. There is a hatchling program here, and a team that goes out and helps them.  This release, though, was three turtles who had been injured or stranded, and had been nursed back to health by the Charleston...
