Oooo! I heard something like this might be happening! Welcome, Frosty and Furry! Can't wait to meet them in person! And, I didn't know they weren't nocturnal--that's GREAT news!

I am eager to find out how the guinea pigs work out.  Emilie and I have talked about getting another cat after she moves in, and eventually get a dog when we have kids and they get to be about 4 or 5.  Were there other little caged mammals...

Lori- they are in the Wii room on the first floor.   Jonmark- we didn't really consider hamsters or gerbils just because they are nocturnal and make noise playing in their wheels at night.  Plus guinea pigs live longer.

Oh, that's right--I remember that what we'd talked about.   I've never had a guinea pig. I had a teddy bear hamster when I was in high school, but he only lived for a couple of years.

Squeeeee! They are beautiful.   Speaking of squeee, I love the little squeals they give when begging for attention or food. When I was four we had multiplying guinea pigs and my mother couldn't bear to get rid of any of them... in the end we had...

Humbug, the little noises are what got me!  When we had Latte visiting, he would make this little clicking sound of happiness whenever Ciaran came close to the cage.  Squeee is right!

one must wonder how he got himself in there!!! in my household - we threaten to box our cats up and ship them away, but they certainly haven't tried it themselves... yet... (of course, we don't have three "grabby" toddlers either!!)

As I'm sure your mom can tell you, Pixie Bobs are highly inventive when it comes to causing trouble.  He walked up to the box, sniffed it, and promptly stuffed himself inside it.  I couldn't get to my camera fast enough, or I would've had a...

Yeah, he sat there looking at me like, "yeah, it's comfy..." I thought it was impressive until I saw a cat on TV get himself all the way inside a big fishbowl; it was freaky looking.

The 2000-piece puzzle was saved...Oscar NEVER tries to jump on this table, but the kids had moved a chair close enough that she could walk on, so she decided to investigate. Lori, guess which website I've been spending an inordinate amount of time on?

Yes, the breeder said she thought he was going to be a "big boy," maybe 20 pounds.  For us, that is a monster cat.  We're used to runts!  I think Oscar is only a few pounds under all that fur
