Bob and I can testify to their yumminess!    Those are nice racks. Have you seen the double decker racks? I gave Katey some for Christmas, and I now want some for myself.   How about dipping in chocolate?? That sounds lovely!

The official verdict is in.  Finn tried it and said, "it's too sweet Mommy."  Ok then, might have to go back to the drawing board when your 6 year old says it's too sweet.

When my brother and I were kids we often had more fun with the box that the toy can in than the toy itself. This picture kind of reminds me of that.

My Grammy had a baking unit that slid out from under the counter, leaving a "cave" to play in.  But the two "drawers of mystery items" seem to be a pretty good facsimile.

My mother would have used the rest of your bag of wheat germ. She tried to put it on almost anything, including my food if I didn't watch out -- a health food pioneer -- till her mid-50's. Grammy wouldn't want a germ in her house. OK some butter or...

Yes, I'm surprised that there's not a revolt in my pantry.  How can the wheat germ peacefully coexist next to the baker's sugar and cream of coconut? ...and don't worry, I won't be serving these to anyone...ever.

For slightly more tolerable muffins (ok, they really need to be warm and served with butter), you might try Nigella Lawson's recipe for banana muffins.  The muffins are sweetened with honey and are wonderful right out of the oven -- after that, I...
